To the annoyance of some neighbors, Early Grayce began playing as the Carnies in the small kitchen of a Midtown Sacramento house in 1992.  In 1993, they began playing live.  Their local venues include Cattle Club, Soundwave, Press Club, Old Ironsides, Cafe Paris, Cafe Montreal and the Davis Saloon.  As an original hard rock band, they have created a unique style all their own.  Early Grayce takes its name from Brad Pitt's sadistic character, Early Grayce, in the movie Kalifornia.
